There is supposed to be a registry change that adds the jump list to the tiles on the right hand side, EnableXamlJumpView, doesn't seem to work for me.

It works if pinned to the task bar, not the start menu

The reg hack doesn't work anymore, just right click on everything.

Hey all I'm back.. still with the same issue.. I thought it was possible a bug but now that I got the November update on this machine i found more clues..
    I'm on 10586.14 (1115) Win 10 Pro.
It seems i can't click the "show more tiles" switch because some settings are managed by my organization. right away that tells me there's a group policy enable.. so i looked around in gpedit and found nothing is configured.....how can this be?? can i see if anything is configured in the registry? where are gp entries stored in the registry?

    Hi guys,
I run into the same issue with my W10 home edition.
No way to move, add or remove tiles in the start menu.

This is how i fixed it:

    regedit to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer]
and change "LockedStartLayout" DWord value to 0
No need to touch the "StartLayoutFile" entry.

    Logoff and logon.

hope it works for you too.
    regards
    Marco

I don't even have that key in my registry. I added it and it still didn't do a think.. i'm on Pro though so maybe that's why...
