    Good to know they are getting on top of the bugs etc, or though I thought my sounds were ok until that went in being as I only use earphones.

    I use this driver on both my laptop and my tower system. Since the update my tower's audio has improved ever so slightly (it was exceptional to begin with); however, the sound on my laptop has deteriorated. I got distortion I never had. I cured it eventually by going to the realtek site and obtaining a driver for my Medion Akoya Laptop from there. Sound back to normal now. Do not like Groove player; it doesn't seem to handle high definition sound well (FLAC Files play very quiet or not at all). Not well pleased with this "upgrade" Prefer Winamp or Jet Audio player.
