    Hidden files appear in photo app


    I have hidden photo files that automatically appear on my photo app. How do I hide these?

    Welcome to the forum.

    What photo app?
    How or if this is possible depends on the app.

    When a file is hidden in Windows Explorer it simply sets a flag that applications can honor or ignore as they wish. Many ignore it.

Out of the blue I can no longer open photo files like PNG, JPG, etc. and don't know when this started. I can select open with Windows Photo Viewer and it will open fine but if I close that file and reopen again I get an error "The app didn't start"....
hi please help,i cant see the files the folder called naksatra,the system created duplicate folder with 0 files in it whereas i cant see the files in the folder where the properties showed i have 473 mb files.

There's a method for hiding files in Windows. Not using the "system" or hidden attribute, but something else, which escape me now. It's a bit cumbersome (for me) to use it but I have. I read where Microsoft uses this method when downloading files...
Yesterday, I inserted a flash drive on my PC and it was loaded with trojans. I managed to clear them with Kaspersky but after that I noticed that all the hidden files in my C drive have turned Un-hidden. (Including desktop.ini's)
