    One Drive Problem

I am a new one driver user and would like to start using it exclusively when I travel.
I understand some of the symbols such as the green check mark and the sign that signifies a file is loading.
My problem is some of my files have a RED X. Those files are not on my other devices. I also sometimes get a message, which I don't understand, to SIGN IN and then pick either MY VERSION of the SERVER VERSION.
I am already signed in and do not know which option to pick.
If there is a solution to change the RED X to a green check mark please let me know and if I can do it in batches.

I appreciate any help you can give me and if you can suggest some tutorials that will help become more knowledgeable

    Thank you

RSplaine, welcome to the forums. It looks to be a sync issue.Hit the then type upload. Then click on upload center

The click settings and click the delete cache button. Restart and one drive should sync correctly

    Dude:
Sorry to be taking you time but I don't know how to get to the UPLOAD CENTER. Do I go to Office 365? I went there but do not see where to type "upload"
Thanks for your help. I will keep you updated as to my progress.

RSplaine, you can also go to one drive online Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online. and look at the version on the server. If it is the version you want then choose the server version in the choice shown. If not choose the My Version option, then upload to one drive again.

I was able to get to the Upload Center and went into settings and deleted the cache. I restarted the computer and at first all the files were uploading but after a minute or so I got back the RED Xs. I tried it 2 or 3 times again with the same results.

    Any suggestions.

    Appreciate the help

Thank you for the help. I think I got it. Went to the notification icon and was able to uncheck working with office.

Glad you sorted it. The only other suggestion I had would be to copy the said files to another location, delete them from one drive. Then to upload them again.
