Screen Turns Black after 10-15 Minutes

    I'd be inclined to check the power supply, I had a similar problem once. My other symptom at the time was a low voltage to the USB sockets, which caused lots of problems with external USB hard drives.

    No i only have the 2 cables plugged in 1 for each of my monitors.

    This is what i was thinking, although i don't have another power supply or computer to test it on.

    Not what I mean. Most modern graphics cards have an extra socket on them to plug in a cable from the power supply unit, sometimes two of them. See this image [clicky]

    Ah i get you, but no i dont have anything like that just the normal cables.

    I don't have any extra power cables on mine either, I use the cheap eVga cards, they never have additional power connections.

    Sorry when i said "normal" i meant just the DVI cable, but for whatever reason it has stopped now and is working just fine. I dont really understand why or how but for the time being my computer is working normally again. Thanks to all who were helping me with this problem.
