Hey lx07 I also joined the forum to say THANK YOU!! I tried everything to resolve this issue. Thought I was quite savvy until this problem arose and I hadn't the slightest idea how to correct it. Oddly enough, however, I download shexview x64 and disabled all non MS, then enabled them all one by one and the problem was still fixed.. Bizarre for sure but I don't lose the screen every time I right click on anything on my desktop anymore so I am grateful to say the least! :)

    You are welcome too.

I didn't figure it out - it was someone else on the internet. I'd give them credit but it was 10 years ago and I forgot who.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Hercules and Halasz for this thread. I have been troubled by this very frustrating issue for many months, but much too busy to give it attention. My wife and I have had to resort to avoiding right clicks and workarounds and etc - you can imagine. Finally with a bit of time I found this thread, almost by chance. It took a bit of time, for different reasons, but when I chose to stick with the logic of this in working through Shellexview I got it sorted! It's amazing how such a little problem can be so annoying but sorting it make my Day! So I joined the forum to make sure I said thank you and keep up the good work! Best wishes
