looks like the laptop has to come completely apart just to get to the battery , if you have never done something like this before I would seek repair shop help if I were you, seems this . and good working laptop is no time to learn how to take one apart

It sounds like you tried this already but I'll post it anyway in case you missed a step. Unplug the power pack and remove the main battery. Now press and hold down the power button for say 5 seconds or more. This will drain any residual power. Now plug the power pack back in and have another go at entering the BIOS. This should take it out of any sleep or hibernate mode it was in and do a cold start.

Try Holding shift then select shut down. keep shift held down till the unit is all the way off. then on boot keep tapping F2.
There is no shutdown choice in windows boot manager, the only way i can shut it down is by holding the laptops power button. (And i tried holding shift during start,/restarts too.. No effect)

Don't open until you have referred to the relevant pages within the service manual and feel 100% comfortable that you can complete the required actions competently. AND SAFELY!!

If you have never done it before. I'd just open up any quick access panels at first. Like the one for hard drive access etc. Removing the hard drive should get you BIOS access, there won't be any OS boot loader. If you do decide to remove the bottom cover, keep track of what screws come out of what holes. Some screws could be longer than others, putting them back in the wrong location will likely damage something in the process.

One way to do it is to take out the hard drive (easy on a laptop) connect hard drive to desktop pc and install windows.

Then put hard drive back in laptop at least you should then get the laptop to boot.

According to the Users Manual F2 is how you get to BIOS:

    Recovering from a recovery backup

To recover from a recovery backup on a USB drive:

    1. Find your recovery backup.
    2. Plug in the USB drive and turn on your computer.
    3. If it is not already enabled, you must enable the F12 Boot Menu:
    a. Press <F2> when starting your computer.
    b. Use the left or right arrow keys to select the Main menu.
    c. Press the down key until F12 Boot Menu is selected, press <F5> to change
    this setting to Enabled.
    d. Use the left or right arrow keys to select the Exit menu.
    e. Depending on the type of BIOS your computer uses, select Save Changes
and Exit or Exit Saving Changes and press Enter. Select OK or Yes to
    confirm.
    f. Your computer will restart.
    4. During startup, press <F12> to open the boot menu. The boot menu allows you to

select which device to start from, select the USB drive.
    Does pressing Fn+F2 work perhaps.

I was going to suggest that too. But then I thought, well, if you are taking out the drive, the RTC battery is often adjacent to or underneath it. So you might as well just pull the battery and be done with it.
