Windows 10: Windows 10 alt-tabbing problems

    Windows 10 alt-tabbing problems

I know Win10 has the multi desktop feature with that new button in the taskbar, but everything since Vista had an option to "alt-tab" to the Desktop (it shows up as an alt-tabbale thing alongside watever else ur running), and Windows 10 doesn't, and windows key+m doesn't always work when alt tabbing from full screen video games. It's not very efficient but in older Windows I alt tabbed to the desktop to minimize everything, then open a web browser or watever. But I can't do that in 10 because I can't alt-tab to the desktop

    Is there a fix?

    Hi

I just logged into ESO to try this out, and your right you can't really minimize the game screen from full screen mode.

However pushing the Windows key brings up the task bar.

I always have my browser icon for Chrome on the task bar anyway, so I can click on it and Chrome opens up on top of the game.

This actually makes getting online while still in the game pretty easy.

I'm not sure what you would do it you really needed to get to the desktop but this lets me turn on Fraps, get online or access any other software that I would want to in the game with a couple of clicks.

I'm assuming that what they are pushing is just switching applications without going to the desktop.

The start menu also opens so you actually have access to anything on you computer this way.

Since about the only thing I do from in the game is get online to look stuff up, this works fine for me.
