I replied in your other post about this:

Yes, I have checked several times today.
I thought I'd inline attached this to last post:Attachment 7425
Strange you are still showing updates in your history back to 10/10. Mine seem to be gone prior to 10/23. Another system shows nothing before 10/24.

Both systems are 8 to 8.1 to 10 build 9841-9860 upgrades.

I think I would check the WindowsUpdate.log and see if anything is showing keeping the updates from happening.

Edit: Have you modified your install in any way, such as adding Media Center?

No mods, but it says Build 9841 on desktop, so do I need to Upgrade?

I would suggest you do. The new builds are going to be a normal occurrence during the test period, as I understand it. Staying up to date is probably the best course of action.

Be aware that some features are broken/buggy on this update compared to b9841.
MS stated that some things were broken when they released it.

Getting failure message to try again later.

    Will try tomorrow.

Hard to focus as much as I'd like with a reply every few minutes at 7F. But I've not gone back to Win7 for two weeks so this is obviously a keeper.

    Thanks, Peter.

W10 does seem nice (at the moment).

I thought that b9841 was very smooth and straightforward to use.

    I still use W7 everyday though. :)

Yeppers! If, when you get on the Internet, there are missing letters everywhere, a small Windows Update will cure it.

I had it and someone told me to go back to Windows Update and download updates. I did and no more missing letters.

Another thing . . . there's no ISO to download.

Once you have downloaded the update you can create an ISO using this tutorial:
