Windows 10: boot from USB stick? Solved

    boot from USB stick?

    Hi All,

    I just purchased a new windows 10, which came as a USB Flash stick
    and Im curious if I can use it as an emergency boot USB?
    in case computer wont boot normally?

    Hello Zargon,

    If you mean that you purchased a retail copy of Windows 10, then yes you can boot from the USB to advanced startup options.

    Hi Brink,

    yep,,i did purchase a Retail copy with USB stick [guys at store tried to tell me i could download for free,
    but I wanted an official Installer, and because i also heard that win 10 was going to be the last windows release]

    wow,that advanced startup options link was a great read!!, that shortcut might come in handy someday!
