Seeing many 'Multimedia Devices' in "Devices and Printers"

I am seeing in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items"Devices and Printers" 14 same name 'Multimedia Devices'
The icons look like a pc with a film strip and musical symbol.

    Named: MG8702 DLNA
    Not connected

The name belongs to my Motorola router.
I delete all but they come back. Sometimes 11 of them or another multiple after deleting and a restart of the pc.

Questions: Why so many and How to keep them deleted?

When I look at my info @ "devices and printers" I see my hardware and sofware assoociated with
DLNA/UPNP streaming. This includes the TV, software running within the TV,
other PC's that have been setup as upnp devices and KODI running as a client in an Android TV box
    configured for upnp/DLNA.

I don''t have anything specific to the router, Does your router have upnp server or similar running within it?

I do not know about the router but I do have PLEX and use it's app thru my Roku box.
I checked the properties of MG8702 DLNA and it does say Digital media server. Motorola MG8702 is the name of the router.

I guess that may be the PLEX server on my pc as it requires you to log in. Why so many entries I do not know. I leave the pc on for a few weeks before restarting. I watch the PLEX shows nearly everyday. One entry of 'MG8702 DLNA' shows a darker icon while the others are greyed out. I can right click on any and click on 'Remove device'. They will show up again over time. I have exited from PLEX and started it up again and on my tv started up a show but no MG8702 DLNA shows up. I do not know what triggers it to do so in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items"Devices and Printers"

This may be the answer. Google search: MG8702 DLNA in Device and Printers shows 'Multimedia Devices'

    See the answers given here:
Media devices are showing my router??

I am not sure I want to disable. Will this affect my network to my other pc or the PLEX server connection to the Roku box?
It does not look to do so.
I did disable and can network into both pc's. I can also view PLEX content on my tv.

Question: Do I ever need DLNA Media Server enabled?

It's safe to disable in the router. It's only for sharing media on USB drives, possibly a NAS,
plugged directly into the device, over the network via upnp .
I share media from my PC to the TV also, my router is a basic one supplied by my ISP; works great for
what it does, but it doesn't include a DNLA server. It is not necessary in these kinds of scenarios we discussed here.
