Because I have personal information on it that I want to protect: banking details, financial information, information from my Company including client details etc. Bitlocker seems more secure than EFS that I was using before because it locks the whole drive without keys.
Yes, I understand the difference. I don't believe I used the terms 'Windows Recovery', I think it was 'Repair Upgrade re-install of Win10 pro'.
@dalchina Win10 Upgrade Repair is clear about disabling Bitlocker for the Upgrade Repair, then it's re-enabled on next reboot. I've suggested this to AOMEI on my case thread, but I can't explain why the same USB boot on the same laptop using the same image that verifies OK, worked twice before and now does not.
