Do you want/need Bitloccker? If so, why? Otherwise turn it off/disable it when you get your system back.
    Thanks for the questions.
Because I have personal information on it that I want to protect: banking details, financial information, information from my Company including client details etc. Bitlocker seems more secure than EFS that I was using before because it locks the whole drive without keys.

It might just be my reading, but your posts above seem a bit confusing between Windows Recovery/Repair Upgrade(??) and AOMEI (Backupper, I assume). Images created by AOMEI are separate from any of the Windows 3 Rs
Yes, I understand the difference. I don't believe I used the terms 'Windows Recovery', I think it was 'Repair Upgrade re-install of Win10 pro'.
@dalchina Win10 Upgrade Repair is clear about disabling Bitlocker for the Upgrade Repair, then it's re-enabled on next reboot. I've suggested this to AOMEI on my case thread, but I can't explain why the same USB boot on the same laptop using the same image that verifies OK, worked twice before and now does not.

dalchina is right. One Drive is a horror.
It has NEVER done any good for me. Only bad.

It deleted important files on two occasions. That's enough to eradicate it.
It has been removed from every computer I've had for over a decade.
    Never again.
