Cache Folder Question

Hi All

Can anyone maybe advise what this folder does ? And if it is safe to delete the files inside :
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\Content.MSO

I can see alot of temp files inside but not sure what it does ?

And can see the size grows large

Yeah this is very random from what i have seen - Sometimes its large and sometimes its a much smaller size
Thats why i wanted to know what that folder does / is used for ? And if it is safe to delete the content inside
