Windows 10 shortcut property using COMMENT field

In Windows 10 Pro 22H2, when I create a shortcut such as this:
Windows 10 shortcut property using COMMENT field-propcom.jpg
its' format often changes (without my request to do so) to this format:
Windows 10 shortcut property using COMMENT field-prop-nocomm.jpg

which is what I do NOT want to happen! As you can see, my first shortcut provides a COMMENT box which allows me to provide useful information for future reference, whereas the second shortcut does not.

What must I do to prevent Windows from changing the shortcut's format so it will retain my COMMENT box? Most of the time this does not happen but if I can do something to prevent this I'd like to know about it.

    Thanks,
    Dan

I replicated the shortcut you made to that same app. My shortcut doesn't mess up:

    • Did you press Apply, then OK, after adding the Comment?
    • Try removing the "https://" from the comment.

Here is what I did to replicate yours:
    1) Downloaded that podcast-downloader-portable.zip file.
    2) Made the folder: C:\Vovsoft\podcast-downloader-portable
    3) Extracted all the files there.
    4) Right click podcast.exe -> Create shortcut
    5) Renamed "podcast.exe - Shortcut" to "Podcast"
    6) Right click Podcast -> Properties
    7) In comment, I put: https;//vovsoft.com/giveaway/free-podcast-downloader-2024/
    8) Apply, OK
    9) Move Shortcut to Desktop

Note the difference in the tabs in the two (first) screenshots of Properties.

I gave this a quick try and saw the same as Pepanee's. I'm wondering why yours differs.
