    Download this reg file from Brink's tutorial:
    https://www.tenforums.com/attachment...on_to_22h2.reg

    Double click on the file in Explorer, and approve the UAC prompt for Admin rights. Now you're protected from unwanted W11 upgrades and most of the "nag" screens.

    Does your default browser settings protect you against opening "malicious files"?

    Copy the same text into in a new file: 22H2.reg
    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate]
    "ProductVersion"="Windows 10"
    "TargetReleaseVersion"=dword:00000001
    "TargetReleaseVersionInfo"="22H2"
    Click on the file to activate.

    Yes, by default. I generally stay away from Registry tweaking.
