    Windows 10 Bugs or

    Hello Guys,

I am sorry for my english

I have windows 10, i was watching a video on youtube, then my chrome started going backwards by itself, it still does it until now (from time to time), and also my mouse and my keyboard started going crazy(ex: i can move it, but i can't click on applications, can't select things, can't close them, also sometimes can't delete things with my keyboard even tho if i tried using other ones, they're perfectly fine, also tried to remove them, but the going backwards kept going on)
I tried searching for some third party softwares(Antiviruses,..) things that could help, but nothing, also tried to update with the Windows Updater, and still yet nothing.
All of this happened just today, and it happened from time to time.
And to be honest i still don't know if it is the Windows 10 or not.
If someone of y'all can help, i would be very grateful.

Sounds like a lot of different problems going on to try to diagnose.

In this case, I would try a system restore point before the problem started.

Boot to Safe Mode. Does your PC behave stably then?

Win 10 doesn't randomly behave as you describe all by itself.

To boot into Safe Mode on Windows 10 without a password, you need to:

    Restart your computer.

Hold the Shift key and select the Power button while in the sign-in screen.

    Select "Troubleshoot".

    Go to "Advanced options".

    Select, See more recovery options.

    Select "Startup settings".

    Press "Restart".

When your computer reboots, hit the "5" or "F5" key to enter Safe Mode with networking.

Or hit "F4" for Safe Mode without networking.

    Thank you for your reply.

    That is absolutely normal.

That does NOT mean your password will NOT be needed in specific cases.
(The same is true if you use biometric authentication).

How is that that you don't use a password? How did you configure your PC so you don't use one?
You may have configured your PC to boot directly into a specific account.
Or perhaps you use biometric authentication (face, fingerprint...).
    Or..?

Are you using a local or a MS account?
(If you don't know- there's a tutorial - in the searchable Tutorials section).

If you don't know your password and need to reset it - here's how:

Those problems might happen for hardware instability. It has two varieties: a hardware or configuration is causing it randomly, or for accumulated problems in Windows or apps. I have never experienced similar problems in Windows 10 because my Win10 is stable, but in not totally stable computers Windows might boot up w/o some abilities like dragging with the mouse, double-clicking, launching a browser, Internet access,... or lose them in the middle of a session. In my case rebooting fixes it, and the problems are little frequent enough to use the computer. Otherwise the solutions would be recovery (recovery points, restore an image, uninstall programs that seem to have introduced the behaviour,...) or reinstalling Windows (there're several ways to do this, including a repair install that conserves apps and settings although it's less powerful at fixing problems). If there's a hardware root cause, fix it (replacing "central" parts -typically check or replace RAM or PSU-, detaching or replacing malfunctioning peripherals,...).

Do you have other browsers besides Chrome? Possibly uninstalling or reinstalling it could fix problems.

You don't need any high wattage PSU. nVidia suggests 300 W (that imo is a bit tight) for its 120W GTX1660 and the processor's tdp is only 65W, about 250W consumption and 450W PSU imo. Use always high quality ones. The rest of your specs are fine.

As you have a lot of RAM (4x16GB?) you might try with less (2x16GB), just to see or to locate a weak module.

I have shown you how to reset your password. (Click the blue text).

You need to be sure which kind of account you have- local or MS.

I have shown you above how to find out.

Please confirm you are not overclocking. (If you are, you will have made certain technical changes to do that).

Hey back, no the pc is not overclocked, yesterday i changed nothing and it started very randomly.
But it's been a month i upgraded my ram, and there is one that i added which is under my cpu fan, and which is also getting pressured because of the fan whos screwed on to the max.
I do wonder if the problem happened because of this.
