CTRL-C no longer works
CTRL-C, the sequence that enables you to copy selected text to the buffer so that it can be pasted, has stopped working for me.
It's never given me a minute of trouble on any computer until this morning but now, it simply doesn't put anything in the buffer because nothing happens when I do CTRL-V to paste the contents of the buffer where I want it. I haven't installed anything new or changed my system in the last several days. It *is* an older laptop - Dell 5559 - but still works reasonably well.
I've been using Windows for many, many years and have never seen or heard of anything like this. I'd appreciate some advice on how to solve this problem. I'm running Windows 22H2 OS Build 19045, 4170.
