Attached is the a 32 bit version. I just compiled the original C++ source and changed the target to x86. I didn't add any file property info or sign it (i.e. left the same as the original 64bit version) but for some reason, Windows Defender threw a false positive (i.e. claimed it was a "virus"). I had to allow it on my test Windows 10 32bit VM and then it worked just fine.

This time my system reacted - a 'DOS window' opened briefly and closed, but the taskbar was unaffected.,

Do you happen to have a vanilla Win 10 32bit VM you can test it on? Or maybe try it under a different account? I'm just trying to think of how we can narrow down what's preventing it from working for you.

I'll try making my own variation in C#. Maybe we'll get lucky and that will just work.

    You're welcome!

That one I created by converting the C++ code to C# (actually ChatGPT did that), set it as an "Any CPU" exe that runs as 32 or 64 bit, added an icon, set the properties such as Description, and digitally signed it. So maybe it was an AV thing with the unsigned C ++ code or maybe there's a C++ runtime issue on your machine. It would require some trial and error testing to know for sure. Anyhow, I'm glad to hear the C# version worked!

Your latest post was all in English, so I understood the words, but to the extent that is was technical, it left me reeling.

I have another issue that a dozen forums have not been able to resolve, so I have posted it here in tenforums in the hope that it will interest and motivate you, like my first two issues have - which incidentally, were mere perks, compared to the inconvenience experienced in Telegram.

I took a look at the GitHub page, specifically the build instructions for Windows. Looks like a well organized project, but there are lots of prerequisites. It could be a bit of a rabbit hole just to get started. Since I already have three programming projects of my own on the go, I'll have to pass. Sorry.
