Getting 2 script host errors after virus removal

My F-Secure anti-virus program found two trojan droppers but after removing them I am getting these two error messages each time I boot up. It looks like it can't find two script files.

    Do I need these files?
Can I replace these files if needed?
Or can I just somehow make the error messages go away?

I have no idea what these or any other script files are for

I've attached a picture of the two errors

I also have a Lenovo Thinkpad X-1 Carbon Gen 7 running Windows 10 22H2 19045.4170, fully up-to-date and with all Lenovo drivers installed.

I've just checked C:\Windows\System32 and my install has neither of those two .VBS files.

I suggest you download, unblock and run (as Administrator) Sysinternal/Technets Autoruns.

After the scan has finished you should be able to find where these two scripts are being run from then remove the tick from the checkboxes to disable them.

After a while with no issues then you can, if you want, run Autoruns again (as Administrator) and delete the startup entries for these two scripts.

    Hope this helps...

Those are leftovers from running WinSAT (Windows System Assessment Tool), which generates a Windows Experience Index to rank your PC's "speed". Windows Update may have been trying to confirm if your system is fast enough to run W11.

If your WinSAT score was low, WU would skip trying to nag you into upgrading.

    Run these commands, as Administrator:
    Code:
    schtasks /Change /TN "Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\StartupCheckLibrary" /Delete
    schtasks /Change /TN "Microsoft\Windows\Maintenance\InstallWinSAT" /Delete

You're welcome. I'm glad you were able to fix the issue.
And yes, it's kinda weird how that happened, yet I'm glad that repeating the same process was able to fix that.
