    CoPilot sidebar?

I followed some instructions yetserday (I'll find them again shortly) which I understood would remove CoPilot, and for the rest of the day there was thankfully no sign of it. But this morning an unwanted CoPilot 'sidebar' appeared at the right of my screen. Using 'Close and re-attachtoEdge' I appear to have banished it. But could somone clarify how it appeared at all please? I use Chrome BTW.

You might find this useful at some point: (also Win 10)
Enable or Disable Windows Copilot in Windows 11 Tutorial | Windows 11 Forum

I don't have it on mine (yet).

Thanks, that is in fact the one I used. Specifically 'Enable or Disable Windows Copilot for All or Specific Users in Local Group Policy Editor'. I see now it talks about 'disabling' rather than uninstalling. But I'd have thought that was enough to stop it popping up as a sidebar!

Thanks, downloaded the REG and will run it soon.

EDIT: Duly ran it ("successfully added...") so I'm optimistic that I'll see no more of CoPilot.
