strange win 10 keyboard cap issue

i got a problem after i pressed a combination of keys its causing caps to get stuck, after i press the cap key.
also the only way to get small letters, is a combo of alt + shift.
this started after pressing a combination of keys i dont know, that had a pop up about different keyboards or something.
the only thing that appears to be effected, is the way caps work. which is super irritating.

ive yet to find a solution or where the settings that control this is located in windows 10. please help thanks.

It sounds like your key press combination has turned on one (or more) of the Ease of Access keyboard settings. See Option Two in this tutorial for where to find them in Settings.

    Hi OtherWay1982,

I don't know if I can help, but what application are you using? Does this happen in all (writable/'typable') applications? Do you have software for your keyboard? Have you tried rebooting?

    Kind regards,

windows 10 home. just normal desktop. this is the normal windows behavior issue. its everywhere windows controls the keyboard. even browers.

Try the On Screen Keyboard. Go to Search and type OSK and press Enter. Or try a different USB keyboard.

You can also do a System Restore to a time before the key combo you typed.
