    Okay thanks for that:
    Used the cmd line in Win 10.
    Got to Troubleshoot>Advanced Options>StartUp Repair
    I have been there several times before.
    It said it would put a log files in the F drive ....but it didn't.

    Okay I think it's time to end this and just cut my loses and reinstall.

    In (F:) drive??? That is your EFI!
    Use VMs if you don't need special hardware that has to be passed through in the VM like printers, scanners etc.

    Thanks , it's a test box so I prefer to avoid VM as I often use it to test hardware and peripherals.
