    Hi

You can still find things just by typing in the search anywhere box, just type the first letter and you will see a list, or keep typing to narrow it down.

I.e. if I want Rocketdock, I just type R and it's at the top of the list.

But if not just keep typing and the list get smaller.

On the subject of easier to use, Rocketdock is easier to use! LOL
I've used it for years, it beats any Windows menu for getting to things you use all the time.

I have to say I don't get the import photo thing I've imported this 3 times each time trying to make it smaller but it always ends up like this?

Now that I said that it got smaller. LOL

Like the start screen with metro (full screen) apps.

Neither. I prefer toolbars which I've been using since Win 2000.

Start Menu or Start Screen-clipboard01.jpg I have always used Vista Start Menu. It opens across the screen just like a start screen but with text rather than tiles. I don't have to scroll or type anything and all my programs are on view.

Edited to add: I should have said this is the menu I use in W7. I'm sticking with the default one in W10 to see what they do with it.

My Eyes! I can't unsee that... I'm going to have nightmares now....

That is truly the most horrific start menu I've ever seen... it has all the worst traits of the god awful XP hand-eye coordination nightmare with strange arbitrary style choices (why is there a line every 9 items?). This is the sort of thing that made XP a nightmare for anyone who didn't have perfect muscle control.

Ha Ha, I didn't say you had to like it - it works for me and that's all that matters
