    Taskbar Issues.

My SSD drive died, lost all data, reinstalled W10. Things aren't working like they used to.
For example, I used to be able to add outlook.com as well as MSN home page using two separate icons in the taskbar. I can't seem to do that, now. Both icons are now stacked on the taskbar. I really want to separate them. My browser is Firefox. This is a work computer, by the way.

If you sign in with a MS account and had sync on it should come back on its own or right click taskbar then goto setting and set it how you want

Thanks, Samuria. I've been through all of the taskbar settings but can't find anything that will separate 2 instances of Firefox.
It used to look like this:

But now it looks like this:

I open Firefox using a shortcut to its executable that I've placed on my desktop
    Code:
    "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
and using that gives me a separate entry on the Taskbar for each instance that is running.

I've also ungrouped my Taskbar icons but I assume you've done that already.

Oh, it's just occurred to me that what you are really asking is how to have the browser pinned to your Taskbar twice.
I do that by using multiple tailored shortcuts that can each be pinned & shown on the Taskbar at the same time.
    Code:
    "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -new-window "www.tenforums.com/search.php?do=getnew&contenttype=vBForum_Post"
    Code:
    "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -new-window "www.elevenforum.com/whats-new"
The -new-window bit fools Windows into thinking that you are pinning an application rather than a URL and that's what allows this trick to work.

    - The open one on the left is a Firefox item showing this thread.
    - The two on the right are Firefox items which contain -new-window the syntax.
And I have now clicked on both of those on the right to open them to their target pages.

Hi, I'm wondering how it is that your IT dept/admin hasn't provided a suitable backup arrangement so you could have /your admin could have/ restored your system to as was after a new drive was put in place.

Regular 3rd party disk imaging (of at least all O/S partitions to external storage) is endlessly recommended here...

    Thanks, Denis.
I changed it to combine "never" but now it looks like this:

    meowcat,

I was too slow amending my post.
Please look at it again now. I have added the solution I now realise you want.

    Hi, Denis.
Yes, I'm able to get that far with the "combine never" setting but now it shows all of the labels.

Yes, the Taskbar shows all your running applications. That's what the Taskbar does with Combine - Never.
If you've added those tailored shortcuts to your desired webpages, try changing the Combine - Never back again and decide which you prefer.

Thanks for all your time Denis. It's just not functioning like it used to, which is the way I preferred it. Isn't there any way to get back to this?

    So here's what is happening.
I have MSN pinned to my taskbar.
I also have a shortcut to Outlook.com. on my desktop (it can't be pinned to the taskbar)
I'm trying to create both shortcuts on the taskbar like it used to do before my SSD died.
When I open Outlook.com from the desktop, it throws the icon down to the taskbar and combines it with MSN. I would like both instances of the shortcut on the taskbar, even when both websites are closed, like in my last post above.
I'm sure it is something simple, as I don't remembering setting it up that way before, it just happened that way.
