    The advantage of using a Thunderbolt Cable over a USB-C cable.


    Not asking about using it for charging, just data transfer the Thunderbolt cables a two times the cost of a USB-C cable.

    There is no real advantage other than speed of the data transfer. the cheaper ones are still fast so unless you are transferring large files in the gb then a cheap one is just as good.
