After a couple of years, I downgraded back to W10.
I looked at my posting history on the elevenforums and I was surprised by how it was two years exactly to the day since I upgraded to W11 from W10.
A few days ago my W11 laptop suffered a serious malfunction where it couldn't boot at all. Nothing whatsoever worked to have it reboot after I tried to resolve an issue with Lenovo Vantage service and Microsoft Webview2.
Even though my W10 system is marginally faster than W11, partly because it's a new installation, I detest the W10 Start Menu. It's awful. It's cluttered, confusing and unappealing. I also dislike the W10 notifications and settings. They are intrusive, minimal, and annoying. I'll have to get used to them and resist the temptation to switch back to W11. However, stability is my goal here.
Despite W10's shortcomings, W11 is not perfect either. It has its flaws, such as compatibility issues, bugs, and glitches. It also consumes more resources and battery life than W10. But the W11 interface and snap menu are super handy, I'll miss them,
Anyway, I just thought I would share my experience.
