    NO...

"Export" your drivers first and save them to a USB stick or similar. (Link is up above)

THEN... Use the Media Creation Tool (MCT) here, to create the Windows 10 installer on another USB stick.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10

Follow the directions in this section: Create Windows 10 installation media

Then, just use the installer you created to "clean install" Windows 10.
The exported drivers, are just for emergency. In case there's some Device driver issues in Device Manager after the Win 10 install.

    Clean Install Windows 10

You don't convert (downgrade) Win 11 to Win 10. You do a clean install, that is, you clean the drive (everything will be deleted) and install Win 10.

As I wrote above, you can make Win 11 look like Win 7 and work like Win 10. No need to downgrade.

I linked most of the tweaks you'll need to make Win 11 look like Win 10, in post #6.
Start with the very first tweak on the list... it will make the Win 11 context menu look like the Win 10 context menu.

Now that you're ON Win 11, you should probably make an account on ElevenForum...

On ElevenForum, you can make a topic like... Make Win 11 look like Win 10?
And you'll get a zillion ways to do just that.

Generally, these tweaks will turn Windows 11 into Windows 10.

3rd party backup software will useful on all versions of Windows, is pretty much a necessity on Windows 11...

Windows 11 Tweaks - Leader Board. | Windows 11 Forum looks like it has around 30 items to do to make Windows 11 look like Windows 10. Is there a software that can do all the tweaks at once?

Is there something (real useful feature, not cosmetic) that Windows 11 can do but Windows 10 cannot do? It seems like Windows 11 is just wasting time to relearn the positions/ways to access same features in Windows 10.

You have to apply the tweaks one by one. Once done most of them will survive an upgrade to a new version.
Win 11 is basically the same thing as Win 10 with some differences on the GUI just to remember you that you're running Win 11 and not Win 10. The advantage is that it will have a longer support from M$

The tweaks are, as mentioned... one by one.
There are a few programs that will do quite a few tweaks... they're listed at the bottom of that Leader Board link.

There is absolutely nothing new or different from Windows at all since 2004. In fact I could go back to 1903. In fact we all could go back to Windows 7 and upgrade it to 2021 with the unofficial updates. Why? So you could install Microsoft Works 365 that will do nothing to benefit your major in college asides just for paying to much for that one thing which is literally free. There is no benefit at all.

Updating and reinstalling windows the IT way is like some kind of horror show, Like Pee-Wee Herman Bicycle Dream.
I said it before. Just Install Linux and use Virtual Machines. That is it outside of some non-for-profit providing you a machine.
Nothing is worth it at all. Android was great but Google keeps on dumbing it down.

    @comcom

I love the posts/comments et al. regarding how everything about W12 is just a rumour at this stage. It reminds me of visiting an Apple Store in July or August, where the Apple reps say the launch of any new iPhone in September is just a rumour.

Stay away Linux, it's not meant for most people. People who like Linux are hardwired a bit differently from most people.

Anyway, I have created a post in this sub about how I just downgraded back to Windows 10 from Windows 11.

Been there, done that. While technically possible, it creates a very unstable PC.

Depends what changes you make and how, and how intrusive they are. The changes I've made aren't intrusive and are stable.
Open Shell menu, background colours, and a degree of border and titlebar translucency. Oh, and Vista style icons.

If a new laptop comes installed with Windows 11, can it downgrade to Windows 10?
