What do you plan on doing when 2025 comes around?

With every Windows Upgrade from Windows 3.11 to 95 and every upgrade since, there are many users complaining that they don't like the new version and want to know how long they can use the old version before it stops working.
And there are always the user who says they are never upgrading, no matter how many security risks there are to their computer.

The bottom line is, you can still use the old version of Windows you have now for as long as you like, as long as you don't browse online. After Windows End Of Life support, there are no other Windows Updates, and eventually most browsers will stop working and you cannot install any new hardware or software apps. But Carry on.

While there is truth to what you said. What do you do when surveillance is so ingrained into everything? Either you live in a cabin in the woods. Or you become so boring and uninteresting online and in speech that you are not important or noticed. We already know what not to say. I don't have the answers but there is clear signs of things to come. You know those captchas we entered for years to prove that we are human? like going back 20 or more years? 2003 the term was coined.

it has to be early training for the AI because now that AI can read facial expression on photos taken of humans, it can draw humans in pictures that look indistguishable from real life humans and it knows things that took us millions of years to learn.

Those captchas had to be early learning for the AI imo all the while we were told that it was to prove against web crawlers and bots and non human actors. Like really what does that even mean when we think about it? like going back over those years AI was not even consistently in the landscape but obviously this has been in the works for a long time.

They do say that the general population is 50 years or so behind on what is happening behind closed doors.

The other signs are the stuff already mentioned it points to things that don't sound very fun in the future imo.

obviously this is fake but what is this going to be in 20 more years? Deep fake is also an issue



Tupac deep fake so that the movie actor in the movie looks more like the real Tupac. Looks pretty good to me but he is supposed to be dead since the 90s.


and i guess its a good idea apparently that we want to embrace this in out everyday life on our computer so that it can evolve faster each day.

God did say that we will see illusions in the end times and that we won't be able to tell the difference. I guess we are in the end times because soon we won't know what is real or AI.

I have read this thread back over the last few days and i was actually thinking i sound like one of those complainers each time a new OS comes out. This is the first time i am not looking forward to a new OS. I had no issue with the previous ones.

It is also not just the logical its the impractical too. Take youtube for example it has Ai moderation on its platform so basically it watches for comments and removes comments that are deemed unsanitary.

Say you watch a video that is educational about human anatomy or something and you type a comment about penis's or something that is totally within context to the video. The comment is then subject to being picked up by the Ai and removed. I am always posting benign comments on there and they get flagged right away when this should not be the case because they are not untoward.

I would say they are flagging accounts that are constantly picked up on the algo to so that the Ai takes action quicker to remove posts it does not like.

Idk man youtube on one hand is promotoing all these softcore porn videos "yoga pants" and they let all this BS on there because its making them money in most cases a lot but at the same time say **** or shit or what ever and the comment gets you temp banned for x hours.
Same with Steam they let all the porn games on there that are really graphic but nothing stops those being viewed on there from kids but a age bypass filter that they can just put in a date that is old enough and it will pass the check.
Same with twitch it had a massive streamer issue where woman are basically doing porn on there, it still goes under the radar because it makes them money.

one set of rules for them another set of rules for the consumers. This is also another area we face online that is an issue atm where Moderation of systems is poorly handed its not just those two services its many. But as long as it makes them money then who cares right.

Well what happens when the Ai is at their bidding? like they are going to be underhanded and unethical like this for monetary gains? because that is how it stands now but the consumer has to watch what they say for retribution from the Ai.
