Same story! You don't make just 1 change and check the result! You make 2 changes and ...
Yes, bcdedit /v is the identifiers source!

    Run
    bcdedit /v
    again and upload the result
By "2 changes", you mean name and display, and check after each one??

    bcdedit v.txt

    This is what I used

    cmd (admin)
    bcdedit /set {current} description "Windows 1"
    bcdedit /set {aec82585-bc98-11ee-932d-d050998538f1} description "Windows 2"
    bcdedit /set {aec82587-bc98-11ee-932d-d050998538f1} description "Windows 3

    bcdedit /displayorder {current} {aec82585-bc98-11ee-932d-d050998538f1} {aec82587-bc98-11ee-932d-d050998538f1}

    bcdedit /set {aec82587-bc98-11ee-932d-d050998538f1} device partition=L:
    bcdedit /set {aec82587-bc98-11ee-932d-d050998538f1} osevice partition=L:

I decided to step back and do the the name change and display order again, so everything, all disks, are booting again.

If I now use your commands, will it prevent what happened when I restored the OS partition only to Disk 2? Also, will those commands readjust whatever is causing Macrium to undo the name and display changes?

I need to find out why Macrium, by the way it is has been configured (or perhaps by the way the BIOS or something else is configured?) insists on imposing my third disk, (the hard drive) as the boot default, after I do certain activities in the Macrium recovery environment?

Maybe someone can tell me why they doubted those commands?

Also, can I get some feedback on this, disabled

Sorry, I missed your request there for an Image of my Disk Management. Are you saying these two subjects have something in common?

I already posted pictures of my Disk Management on Page 6 of this thread, but here they are again
