    yes
few years back my son fried his new xbox1 by pulling the power cord out while it was still on ...
of course didn't tell MS this lol
they promptly delivered a new console at my house and picked the fried 1 up , no questions asked

another instance a friend of mine's little son bought a hole bunch of crap for a xbox game (his dad's bank details were linked),emptied the bank account lol...
anyway my friend emailed MS and explained the situation and they refunded the money, no problem.

so yea ,i guess they not too full of crap about refunds

    Ralph,

Were you using the standard one month free trial or had you paid up front for a subscription [for a given period]?

No i went for the yearly at $69.99 you still get the Month for trying it, after many trys at calling Microsoft i did get some help, trying as a home user gos no where you must sat your a business user, then you get someone who quickly moves you to the home user Dep then after explaining why you don't like Office 365 and wanting the refund, you get a long group of numbers to give your credit card person problem i was told Microsoft has a Month to process the refund so you wait 30 days and if you don't sse the refund then you recall them and they use those long numbers to get the process moving so in around 30 days i will wait and see what happens.
