Screen Jumps/Slides Each Time Mouse is Clicked to See the Next Slide

Windows Version: Windows 10 Home, Version 21H2

When checking the news on my Lenovo laptop (https://www.msn.com/en-us), and clicking on the 'right arrow' in order to see the next news item, the screen jumps/shifts, displaying the next slide half off the screen, vertically, making it necessary to then go up and scroll back down in order and center it, in order to read the next slide, which is very annoying. I have checked the mouse driver in the device manager and it says that my mouse driver is up-to-date.

Maybe this is normal, but if so, it would seem to be poor programming.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Does this happen on any other web sites you go to? If not, then it is this MSN site that is the issue, not your computer.
This is normal if you are in Minimized window mode instead of Maximum window page size.

Hi 'Spunk'. Thanks for your reply.

No, I'm not in a minimized window mode.

I think you may be right about it possibly being MSN's fault; however, I don't really know of any other website where I am presented with a series of similar slides on which to click, so I don't have a basis of comparison.

What Browser are you using? Edge, Chrome, Firefox etc?
You can run your Browser in Safe Mode How to run Chrome browser in Incognito Mode or Safe Mode
If that works, you may want to Refresh or Reset your browser to defaults,
How To Refresh Browser | Robots.net and see if that helps

I think the site has bugs.

Has it been working well for a long time, then all of a sudden it's doing that? And you say no other sites are doing this?
If so, it's very likely to be their site. I would wait a few days and see if the problem gets fixed by itself (as whoever manages the MSN news site).

My problem is that for some of the slides, it shows a white box:
(out of all the current slides, 7 of them show this white box. Nothing clickable inside it.)

    ALSO:
If you have any pop-up blockers / ad blockers / firewall extension in browser / etc, temporary disable them, refresh the page, and see if the site works well. Could be a conflict with something.

I only get some white boxes if blocking trackers and ads. No blocking and all slides load fine.

    Vivaldi Browser:

I get the same using LibreWolf but slides also load fine with content blocking off (enhanced tracking protection) along with whitelisting the site in a couple of extensions.
