    running my pc as the admin


    ok i just got this pc and it had win10 pro on it and it allowed me to finish the setup. but i have to install some fitting software and i get a re box that tells me i do not have admin rights.

    i went to settings accounts and my name shows up and it says administrator. so what might be going on? i'm thinking in accounts i'm the admin but not on the pc. i do not recall how to change the pc admin rights

    the admin but on the pd i'm not. so might i have to reinstall windows to get the admin on the pc privileges? and yes i did go into the startup icon and right clicked and ran as admin for the fitting program but this does not give me that option. could it be coming from the download itself? thanks

    In app settings there is an option to install software only from Microsoft store or from anywhere that would do it. Did you do a clean install another option is it thinks it's an a domain controlled by the domain

    no it had win 10 pro on it, i bet it is controlled by the site as your saying i did not think of that possibility. however i did finally find that driver and got my fitting program to finally run. i had to get the noah link to work and needed that driver. i did delete that link i had saved so i do not have that issue again. and saved the new li9nk and also saved the driver to the pc. that driver was not in the MS store i checked. thanks for that help
