File explorer search box history color messed up?

Hi! I recently signed into another account on my PC for the first time. After the initial 'setting up this PC....' phase, I signed back into my main account. The taskbar colors and some other settings were changed. I changed them back.

However, the File Explorer search history box looks wrong/different than before. At first, I thought it was just me being paranoid—but I found a YouTube vid that shows how it used to look. Does anyone know how to get the old look back??

    Here's what I mean:

    How it currently looks:

MS made a change to revert search behaviour via an undocumented update in f. explorer back to how it was up to 1903, when it worked 'properly'.

Perhaps this is what you've noticed. For more see
    KB5033372 Windows 10 Cumulative Update Build 19044.3803 and 19045.3803

You will notice, for example, that now clicking in the search box causes the Search tab to be shown immediately, and correct search syntax e.g.

    ext:jpg datecreated:22/5/23..22/6/23

    is highlighted in pale blue.

    Version 22H2
    - is not your full build number and does not help a lot with this question. Try e.g. 19045.3803 - this number changes with each update (see the News section).

Thanks for the help! I have 19045.3803. I used ViVeTool like the thread you linked suggested and it's back to normal :)
