Hibernate works during daytime hours, but not overnight.

During the day, I can hibernate with no issues. But if I hibernate my system overnight, then inevitably the system has "waken up" sometime during the night.

    Why?

Hi, only you can determine the actual answer to your question 'why'.

    Possibilities:
    - Windows update check
    - Automatic scheduled cleanup task
    - Some other scheduled task
Find scheduled tasks which wake up your Windows 10 PC

A less likely cause might be wake-on-lan if you have some networked configuration.

A less likely one might be a scheduled earthquake (ok, I'm joking).

    @x509

Maybe your computer is a night hunter, like a cat or an owl.

Or a nightmare at 4 o'clock... being gobbled up by the Windows 11 monster...

But I live in California. We get lots of quakes here every year. And sometime in the future, there is the "Big One" that could destroy a major city.

I know- I was there in LA when my room was shaken one morning.. some minor damage.

Point of my comment was 'scheduled' - i.e. if there was something that shook your place each night and caused the mouse to move... scheduled and earthquake - a dissonant apposition.

As stated in one of the links above:

    Command Prompt (as an admin):
    powercfg -lastwake

Also, you can see what devices could wake up the computer:
    powercfg -devicequery wake_armed

You can disable them from doing that.
