Hi. New guy here.
Running Windows 10 Version 22H2
I am trying change the size if my system fonts. I've tried using the advchange but as soon as I click "Apply" the app freezes up. The mouse cursor turns into a circle going around and around and nothing happens. The Task Manager says the app is "Not responding".
Am I doing something wrong?
I've not used advchanger. You could try Winaero or Brink's tut here:

Just realized you said font size, not font name. Winaero allows you to change it for various items but not individually.
After clicking "Apply ",log off then restart.
The reason is you are changing Registry settings from Windows default to the Application;s requirement.
OK. I tried Winaero but it just made things worse. For example, here is a screen capture of the Task Manager window. Note how the icon in the upper left and upper right corners have become so tiny.
Also, again when I hit Apply Changes, nothing seems to happen. Are the changes supposed to happen instantaneously or do I have to restart Windows every time I adjust something?
You have to sign out then back in to see most changes. You should see this at the bottom left:
