I believe the second timing specifies how long the scheduler waits for the computer to begin to be idle once all other trigger conditions are met.
If 'do not wait' then if the task would otherwise be triggered and the computer is not deemed to be idle at that point- the idle counter isn't started and the task does not progress at that point.
Perhaps 'Wait for idle for' might be better expressed as 'Wait for start of an idle period' for example.
In both diagrams (from http://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/win...ectedfrom=MSDN)
task launches because a specified continuous idle period completed,
In first diagram, Wait parameter does have some time value.
Second diagram perhaps is applicable to case of Wait parameter's having don't-wait value;
but it seems random that task activation and idle period would coincide
unless "On idle" were the trigger.
