We know that every time we click to save a document e.g word, excel, notepad being edited, the last edited date of the document is updated. Is there any tool to keep all last edited dates of a file or document in a file or log?
Is there any possible solution? I mostly use LibreOffice and Windows' notepad
You could, of course, keep versioned backups.
Altlantis word processor automatically generates backup files in a folder- I find that excessive.
Libre Office does not seem to support version history:

If you do, however, decide to use Google Docs for version control, you can do it by going to File > Version history. From there, you can either browse through your version history or name the current version of your document.
This would be a useful feature if more people knew where to find it. But it falls down when it comes to feedback and document reviews because the comments don’t appear when you hop between versions.
