Well then I must have forgotten the traumas of the FIRST connection.

I have just noticed in a MessagesforWeb thread with pics that failed to get sent, that a message appeared below the unsent pic - I do not know how long it took for that to happen.

I clicked on that hyperlink, for a picture that was supposed to go to one of MY phones.
That message disappeared, but the picture was still not received (not sent ?) by my phone.

I don't know why my file got attached twice to THIS post; I don't seem able to fix that.

Your phone may have either a very slow connection, or lost the WiFi.
As suggested in the error message, send your pic and message thru SMS/MMS, better known as Text in Messages on your phone.

The app you are using may have a size limit for pictures. If you continue to have problems, resize the photo to reduce the size before sending. You can also upload the picture or video to a sharing site like Drop Box or imgur and send the link to the picture instead.

The sharing option is a good suggestion; but so is the size limitation - I'll try find out if MessagesforWeb has such a limitation. I'll also try and see how big in Kbs is the pic that can't be sent.

So I must have forgotten about the first time I tried with my own phone(s).

I have found different behaviour in Win10 (worse) and Win8.1 (better) and am trying to discover the reason.
