My pc (see specs) is running beautifully on 10. Improvement over 8.1? Definitely.

    Good day to all.

Would it be beneficial to get another desktop as the laptops today are so efficient.

    Many Thanks.
My opinion- you do both because neither is good enough at what the other can do best.

I have a powerful desktop computer at the office for major number-crunching and multi-tasking and I have an ultra lightweight notebook for the road. Considering how much time we spend with our computers these days, having two for two different applications/situations/lifestyles makes a lot of sense. You're doing this now, just get both upgraded to what's necessary to run Windows 10 properly.
