Black screen, yes.
Tried booting into Win XP and ended up with errors in drive. Shut down and booted into Windows 10. It did a chkdsk as well, fixed errors, then restarted and booted into the menu selection, and then went to Window 10 (default)
I'm in Windows 10 now. Things are working. I used EaseUS Partition Manager to look at the disc and do a file check. It uses Windows file checker and found no issues any any of my drives or partitions.
Little apprehensive to try to boot into XP again. I could use the EaseUS Partition Manger to fix the boot loader for Windows XP, but then it may just boot, or try to boot, straight into Windows XP.
