    Alexa invaded my PC

    Windows 10 Home x64 Version 21H2 Build 19044.1586

I have a weird problem with Alexa. When I try to access Amazon.co.uk the Alexa page invades the screen and I cannot get rid of it. I googled the problem but the menu suggested to remove Alexa is not working. Has anyone else had this problem ?
I do not use Alexa and I do not want it.

I'm in the UK and use Amazon.co.uk but can't reproduce your issue.

Screenshot, preferably showing the browser address bar?

Alexa is from Amazon and Chrome is from Google. (edited)
Did you try to use Edge?

Are you perhaps using Chrome, and have an Alexa add-on?

    Which Browser are you using?
As stated, If you are using Google Chrome, check to see if you have installed the Amazon Alexa Extension.
In Chrome, go to the toolbar, just to the left of your User Icon and click the Puzzle piece to view the Extensions. If it's there and you don't want it, Disable it, or Uninstall it.

    You mean this?

    or this?

It's just banner adverts built into the page. I suppose you can use an element blocker but why bother?

    Sorry for delay in replying.

Thanks to all who replied. The problem seems to have disappeared of its own accord. Maybe Amazon found it was not paying off ! Or restarting did it. I am marking as solved.
