No, I think "we" works pretty well. "We", as in me, and all the rest of their client base who found that Metro was a turkey. A simple calculator ought to be enough for them to figure out who the "we" are...

I know you don't like Modern and that's your right, but perhaps you may want to consider using the feedback app to be heard better. After all it's just a preview, yes? IMO screaming your viewpoint on MS Community will probably not get heard. MSDN or TechNet blogs are probably much better, but I think the feedback app is probably the best bet.
