A bit logics here geeks please: if you install some third party programs which add entries to context menu, you cannot be serious when asking has context menu changed. Of course it has, through the third party programs you have installed by yourself.

I was thinking it might have been from some 3rd party app

Naw, it's my theme; it's not playing nicely with the Start Menu!

Doesn't happen on the Start Screen side though!?

There's nothing better (at least for me) than Total Commander.
Third party file managers like Total Commander and Qdir are a must for users who require a FREE "feature-rich" utility for file manipulation. My own personal preference for some years now has been Directory Opus. While it is considered the "Cadillac" of file managers, it is a bit pricey!

    One more thing:

Did the right click context menu on items in the MAIN Start MENU just get a little more sophisticated looking?
Do you mean the separators? I'd have to switch back to using the Start menu to check my machine, hope I remember to look when I do switch next time.

I like the dbl lines, but it could be grouped better (all copy functions in one 'group'), but that might be asking too much

Last update to test machine caused the font cache for apps to break to a point it could not rebuild and had to use a restore to get it back. All uppercase letters disappeared as well as caused the first and third remaining letters the "schrunch up" and become unreadable. the feedback app was unusable because of this. I have snips I can post tomorrow if wanted.

No need, this was a known issue and a patch was released. A number of screen shots were already posted.

W10 b9860 doesn't consider downloading updates to be "Activity".

I started downloading the new preview and then I went and watched the TV.

My Sleep setting was set to 30 minutes.
After that time had passed, W10 turned itself off even though it hadn't finished downloading the update.

It looks like it may not have been a total disaster.

W10 downloaded the remainder of the update when I restarted it.
