You may need to do a clean install. Kari has a excellent guide to follow or you could wait for the official ISO fro MS. ESD to ISO - Create Bootable ISO from Windows 10 ESD File - Windows 10 Forums
So far in Spartan the favorites bar could be moved up abit.
Everything else seems to work for all that I do.
Haven't even tried to find IE yet.
To open IE in Build 10049: press WIN+R for the Run dialog, type iexplore.exe and hit Enter.
I've given the following feedback on Spartan:
When in a newsgroup and I am reading and replying to posts, I sometimes need to revise what I have written. Spartan makes it hard for me to make revisions to what I've written in the following ways:
1) A sentence seems out of place where it's written, so I try to cut it (Ctrl X) and paste it where I would like it (Ctrl V). When I Ctrl V to past it, Spartan puts it right back where it was! After several tries, I have to retype the sentence over to get it where I want it.
2) I would like to delete a word and replace it with a more appropriate one. So I highlight the word, press Delete on my keyboard, but the word will not delete. Sometimes it will never delete and sometimes it will delete on the second try. If it refuses to delete, I have to place my cursor at the end of the word and backspace to get rid of it.
3)I see a place in my text where a line break/new paragraph will work better. I place my cursor in front of the first word I want to move to a new paragraph. Nothing happens! There is no line break!
More Feedback on Spartan:
There are times when I reply to posts in newsgroups. Sometimes the replies are short and sometimes not so short, as in giving complicated instructions on this, that or the other.
It is very disheartening when I am replying to a member and my post is suddenly lost, i.e. . . .
When my post is complicated and extended, sometimes Spartan gives me a "monitor flash" and then whatever I've been working on is gone! Just gone! Now I have to go back and try to recreate what I've written.
I don't want to stop testing Spartan yet, but at the rate of this and other problems, I may be forced to.
Xbox Video App seems to inexplicably stop and disappear for no apparent reason. Has anyone experienced this?
Another taskbar problem. I use auto-hide and it works flawlessly, except for after I disconnect from HDMI. The taskbar just disappears without reappearing requiring a restart. Thanks
Problems I have been having: Complete Display crashing after playing/watching things in Fullscreen or Maximized, Total computer freeze following an extended lack of usage (Left on without being used), and having neither the start menu or ctrl-alt-del available when the above issues occur.
Just got my upgrade today and it seemed to work fine, until i shut off my computer and later turn it back on. I have skype which auto-opens (its always been that way) and this also happened when i opened game clients (yes im a gamer) : the resolution for those clients/apps were changed to a lower setting and will not revert back to 1080p.
