    Peter,

Just keep a note of them in case the problem returns.

I do not understand what you are referring to in your last post - loads of xml files & other things.
You just need to look at those two Custom views and find entries that match the time of the dialog appearing.

Does, "I seem to be failing to import what I find", mean that you have not imported those Custom views? If so, please explain what happened when you tried.

I couldn't find any 'red flagged' entries in either Powershell directory but I did find some in sheff experience. I think that was the name. That was all yesterday. Nothing today.
I'm not sure what my problem importing the logs is. It simply refuses to do it. I must have missed a step I think. Sorry to sound so vague but I also have the plumbers here trying to fix a burst drain pipe which is very distracting.
Thanks so much for the help. I will always keep the link handy to refer to should the issue recur.

Shut down your computer, and turn it back on again like 5 minutes later.

    Use Event Viewer:

Go to that location, and look at the last entries, 5 minutes before the current time that you turned on the computer. Look at those last entries. See if you can find something with a log of PowerShell in there.
