Task Manager doesn't remember recent new tasks

Task Manager doesn't remember recent new tasks.

It has recently started, it was not like this...

Task Manager => run new task

I sometimes use it to run some tasks like services.msc, %AppData%, explorer, etc...

Usually I could see in dropdown my recently made tasks, but now it is blank there, I have each time to remember what was the proper name and type it there... this is additional difficulty...

I think I have seen a long time ago on my old computer something like this, but I can not remember what the solution was..

- simplest option - try using an appropriate System Restore point - hopefully you have one..

System Restore is intended to deal with exactly your sort of situation- reverse a recent change without technical expertise needed.

If you haven't installed or uninstalled programs or made significant changes in the period- nothing else will change.

You are offered the option to scan to see what is affected beforehand, so you can see how many birds will be affected.
