System32 - Files found in USB Folder

I have been going through and tidying up some of my USB's.

I came across this on one of them which is from one of my desktops:

    System32 - Files found in USB Folder-image.png

I checked the %SystemRoot%\System32 folder and the files do NOT appear in the folder. The latest modified date is the 02-Nov-2022.

I can NOT recall if I downloaded this folder or did something else myself [ Old Age ]. The system is stable and fine.

It could be to do with Ventoy, Win10XPE - Build Your Own Rescue Media, or for Analysis maybe !

I am just curious even though I do NOT have a problem !

    Thanks.

I dunno if this will help, but on Win 11 Home I have no .wcs files anywhere on the C:\ drive.

Those are WinPE customization files (for a PE toolkit).

Create a WinPE USB or ISO

Thank you. I seem to remember this now with your posted links. I can just ignore the folder and files.

    Thanks again.
