please help with taskbar news and weather

I started using the taskbar weather thing within Taskbar News and Interests. For the first few weeks I swear all it did was tell me the temperature plus an icon for sunny/cloudy. Then somehow it got changed and now adds descriptive text like "mostly sunny" as you see in the pic, AND it will sometimes say things like "record temp tomorrow" or whatever. I just want temp and a sunny/cloudy icon, not this extra stuff. Is that possible? And if not is there a freeware tray widget that might work?please help with taskbar news and weather-5.jpg

Hi, your options (from rt click taskbar) are:
    Icon and text
    Icon only
    Turn off

Add or Remove News and Interests icon on Taskbar in Windows 10

MS does sometimes change things with an update to apps such as this. I've only had it set to show the icon, so I've not seen the text or any changes to it; I can't see a way to specify temperature only.

Yeah it looks like the interface options have changed or I just misremembered having them, so today I ran trayweather from github and its better, right now I've got it showing the temp in a large font with an icon for sunniness right next to it, exactly what I wanted.
