How do I prevent Microsoft Compatibility Telemetry from running?

    Hello

How do I prevent Microsoft Compatibility Telemetry from running automatically?

This process puts a lot of pressure on the processor and hard disk, which is not good at all!

I will post a screenshot soon!

Hi, the problem is nothing to do with that- the actual transfer rate is minimal - trivial.

The problem that should concern you is the 100% usage of your disk.
And I'm guessing that's occurring with a very low transfer rate i.e. very very bad performance.

Now, please post a fuller screenshot of your task manager, organising the disk column high to low by clicking its column header.

Also post one similar to this - note I clicked on the column header highlighted on the right to organise that high to low.

Which PC does this relate to? An old one? Please provide details.

    Thanks.

This picture is not for my system

Because I closed this process and could not take a screenshot anymore

But the percentage of my cpu usage was very high and the disk was less involved

Please tell me how to block this process?

    Thank you for your reply.

No, I won't, as you haven't answered the fundamental question.

As I have explained, or tried to... and it seems I have not been successful... doing that would be pointless.

For any further help provide the screenshots requested. Thank you.
